Choco Chip Pan Cakes

Pan cakes are always my daughters favorite breakfast . check the pics below

I try to bring as many as variations i could ,Like wheat Oats  Pancake, Banana Pancake , Nutty butty pancake etc etc….This recipe is a simplest variation and you change the recipe with ingredients of your choice.

My recipe uses  —> Self rising flour, Eggs, Sugar, Vanilla powder , Milk and finally Choco chips

Choco Chip Pancakes

Ingredients and Method

  1. Self rising flour- 1 cup (Add 2 tsp of Baking Powder , 1 tsp Baking soda and 1/4 tsp salt to 1 cup all purpose flour , sieve it well to make it Self rising flour)
  2. Egg-1
  3. Milk-1 cup
  4. Vanilla Powder-a pinch (if using Essence 1/2 tsp)
  5. Sugar-1/4 Cup (You can increase or reduce the amount of sugar)
  6. Choco chips- As required
  7. Oil /Butter

In a bowl add flour, vanilla powder ( if using essence add to milk only ), sugar and mix well.

Beat egg and Milk together well and  add slowly  to the dry mix .

Now mix everything well ,  slowly add the choco-chips and gently fold the batter , do not mix too much ,keep it aside and prepare your pan.chochip3

Now  heat a pan on medium flame  drizzle some oil or butter

Pour a ladle of batter on to the pan , let it cook well on one side and slowly flip the other side , once properly cooked remove from pan and transfer to plate .

Delicious Pan cakes are ready to be Eaten .

Serve with Choc Sauce, whipped cream or Honey
